Born in Epinal, France in 1959 and raised in East of France, Philippe Jacquot attended Nancy University graduating with a "Master's Degree" in International Law in 1984. In 1986 he moved to Paris where he lives with his wife and two daughters.

Philippe has been involved with Photography since he took photographs at 15 for his first exhibition. At 20, Philippe was teatching sensitometry and "Zone-System" in Photography workshops in Nancy.

He combines his background in Information Technology with traditional and pernickety photographic processes using the digital platform. Chief Development Officer in a worldwide Advertising Network since 1989, he had the opportunity to acquire mastery of digital tools at the same time they were improving.

Philippe soon found himself doing digital imaging consulting. Respected today, as a contributor on working creatively with the digital platform, Philippe spends much of his free time photographing the wilds and teaching photography workshops in some of Normandy's most interesting outdoor locales.

Philippe is a published photographer and a contributing editor for magazines. He is member of NAPP ( The National Association of Photoshop Professionals ) NPN (Nature Photographers Network) PSA (Photographic Society of America ) NANPA (North American Nature Photography Association).

Philippe is Apple Certified Pro Trainer for Aperture™. He has been assigned by NIK Software as a Certified Trainer on their PlugIn Suite for Adobe Photoshop™ and Aperture™

Philippe has founded and owns Focus, a Photography Dedicated English/fFrench Search Engine.
