My modest experience in wilderness Photography provided me with this notion : The more you have a rough time to reach your spot, the better you'll enjoy your shooting session !! This does not mean your photos will be better! Because, you have to consider you'll probably be exhausted, out of breath and bewildered. When arriving on a site, it's a good idea to sit and breathe... Deeply, slowly. Take off your backpacks, lay down your gear on the ground and try to be receptive to the "mood". Let it fill your guts, be penetrated by the spirit of the scene. Especially with Nature, there's always a natural balance, a underlying peace, a resident quiet... Take the time to feel and see time passing by... Your art is a sight affair, listen, smell, touch ! Emotion is the main ingredient of a well executed photograph recipe ...
